A passion project before anything else, DEADHOLT: Don’t Stray! started as a blend of ideas. Today it stands on its own as a fully fleshed out product, story, and tabletop experience.
Take the role of a GUIDE, a veteran pathfinder in a grim and unforgiving reality. With civilization retreating behind the cold and rusty walls of their settlements, regular folk depend on you to get from A to B. So… you lead them!
In the world of DEADHOLT, things are… simple. Your main objective, even in the apocalypse, is to make a living!
Throughout the game, you will manage your Loot and pick your battles so that, when it all ends, you will have gathered the most Metal Scrap (Yes, around here, that’s money).
HOW you achieve this, though, is entirely up to you! There are many ways for you to earn Scrap:
Escort Clients to their destinations, hunt Beasts, fight Guides, or trade in whatever you got to Scavenge along the way.
Players are encouraged to explore and find their own play-style. With 160 cards spanning three decks, custom dice and six Guide cards with their own unique abilities, the vast number of variables will always create fun moments and keep game engaging, motivating you to make meaningful decisions and carve a different path each time you play it!
